Play nine holes across the campus in late summer as Brother Links, a monk of Saint John's Abbey with a wicked short game. Tee off from the top of the bell banner, play through the Quadrangle, the stadium and the peninsula, and finish with the long drive across Lake Sagatagan to the chapel.
Turn with ← → or drag the screen (Shift for fine aim). The ring shows where the ball lands; on Casual the dotted arc shows the whole flight.
↑ ↓ or ‹ ›. The caddie picks one for you; the carry distance is under its name. “Plays” in the readout is the distance after slope and wind.
Tap SWING or Space to start, tap to set power (the white tick is the caddie's suggestion), then tap as the marker crosses the green zone. Early = right, late = left.
Tap the ball icon or use Q E (draw / fade) and R F (topspin / backspin). X resets to straight.
The meter is in feet. The grid and drifting dots show slope; the ball breaks downhill. Casual shows the first part of the roll.
Z target view, M overhead map, B ball cam, V replay the last shot, C scorecard, Space during a shot to fast-forward.
Rough, sand and woods cost distance (the % after the lie). Wind is shown relative to where you face.
Water: +1 and a drop. Out of bounds: stroke and distance. Roofs: +1 and a drop beside the building. Ten strokes picks you up.
A swings, the left stick or d-pad aims (hold a trigger for fine aim), LB RB change club, X map, Y target view, Start help.
A monk of Saint John's Abbey and the course's only member. He'll coach you on the training range, and he has something to say about most shots.
